Our first wedding dress boutique
In 2019 I bought the Somerset territory for Bridal Reloved and opened my first wedding dress boutique in Street. Being able to sell affordable, pre-loved wedding dresses as well as helping to reduce the amount of designer sample wedding dresses going to landfill was very fulfilling.
The relationships I built with those first customers helped shaped what the business is today. Selling wedding dresses was so much more than a transactional relationship. Touching the lives of others, building friendships, trust and support has always been the most rewarding part of the business and the true measure of our success.
The beginning of our beautiful family
At the same time as starting a new wedding dress business (as if changing careers wasn’t enough to handle) we started a beautiful family through IVF. This is just one of the many reasons I love the bridal industry because I now have the freedom to run a business and raise my family.

Swapping my beret for bridal!
I haven’t always had a career in the wedding industry. I am a proud veteran, having served 22 years in the armed forces for Queen and country. As I started to think about resettling back into the community and starting a family, I decided to swap my beret for bridal, and entered the world of selling wedding dresses.

The opening of our first Louisa Jackson Bridal Boutique
In 2023 we opened our very first, dedicated Louisa Jackson Bridal boutique in Fleetwood, Blackpool. We had such an overwhelming response at our grand opening to the wedding dress collection and our unique approach. The opening of our second shop also enabled me to create more jobs and a positive working environment for staff to be nurtured and empowered.
In 2024 we waved goodbye to the Bridal Reloved franchise and we converted our Street wedding dress shop in Somerset to our second Louisa Jackson Bridal Boutique. I’m so excited about this next phase of our journey as it means we now have the flexibility to offer an even bigger collection of wedding dresses at affordable prices for every bride!

Louisa Jackson Bridal was born
After gaining firsthand experience with our brides, I spotted a gap in the wedding industry to design and cultivate a collection of wedding dresses that were truly for everyone. We developed our first range of wedding dresses throughout 2020 and finally launched our first wedding dress collection at the beginning of 2021.
The name ‘Louisa Jackson Bridal’ was chosen to honour my two beautiful children.
At Louisa Jackson Bridal, we truly believe that size is just a number, so we have colour coded all our dresses and removed all sizing from our wedding dress collection. No more feeling bad for the number on the tag, we find a dress you look and feel amazing in, regardless of whether it’s a size red, blue or green heart.
It has always been important to me that the business promotes body confidence and helps brides see their true beauty despite their insecurities. Many brides that come to us are nervous about finding a dress, or might have had a negative experience elsewhere.
We focus on a positive wedding dress shopping experience with a no pressure approach. Our friendly team are ready to welcome you and be a part of your bridal preparations. We want to help you make memories and be a part of your journey up till your wedding day!
